Silver Pocket Watch 1893 London

SOLD - to a gentleman!

This is a wonderful quality silver pocket watch from 1893, making it 127 years old! The silver case is hallmarked for London and was made by the company of Henry John Norris. The crown and bow are hallmarked for a neighbouring company, Charles Harris who were also based in Coventry. The watch is key wound, and will be supplied with a No. 8 key. The watch winds and ticks nicely for several hours – however we are not watchmakers, so it may require some attention or a service. It is in overall great condition. The enamel face is good with only one small crack in the VII numeral (see photos). The glass is in good condition with a couple of small surface scratches. The back has some engine-turned decoration with a blank cartouche, and the hinges, front and back are good. There is a small ding in the back of the case. With the bonus of being in good working order, this is a beautiful, heavy accessory for your watch chain.
