Silver footballing medal 1913 Birmingham
£39.00
This is a silver fob depicting a football match, manufactured in 1913. Awarded to Private T. Healey who was a member of the Duke of Wellington Regiment. Manufactured by the famous silversmiths Mappin & Webb Ltd and assayed in Birmingham. Sadly, Private Thomas Healey was killed in action in October 1917 at the age of 26. A really poignant item, this medal is packed with history and would cut a real dash on any waistcoat. Team it up with one of our fabulous watch chains.
