Silver double Albert chain with spinning fob 1923 Chester
SOLD - to a gentleman!
This is a beautiful double silver watch chain complete with a sterling silver decorative spinning fob set with bloodstone. The chain terminates at each end in matching spring clips for attaching a pocket watch, fob or other accessory. The chain is of graduating curb link construction with each link hallmarked with the passant lion for sterling. Now 94 years old, there is of course evidence of some wear to the hallmarks, but overall this item is in great condition with the clips in excellent shape. The fob was manufactured in 1923 by another maker, William John Pellow and has some scratching and nibbles to the stone. This would make a very smart addition to any waistcoat.
