Silver double Albert chain with fancy links and fob 1909 Birmingham
SOLD - to a gentleman!
This is a beautiful double silver watch chain complete with a sterling silver fob with a blank gold-plated cartouche on the front and a blank silver cartouche on the back. The fancy link chain terminates at each end in matching spring clips for attaching a pocket watch, fob or other accessory. Now 108 years old, this item is in excellent condition and with a more unusual chain, it's unlikely you'll find another like it anywhere else. The fob was manufactured in 1909 by another maker, Herbert Bushell of Birmingham. This would make a very smart, unique addition to any waistcoat.
