Silver Albert chain with small silver ingot
£179.00
This is a lovely heavy single silver watch chain complete with a sterling silver ingot. The chain is of graduating curb link construction with each link hallmarked with the passant lion for sterling. This chain has been well used as most of the hallmarks are extensively rubbed and it has a wonderful feel and patina to the silver. The makers mark for the T-bar is rubbed so we can't be certain who manufactured it. The date mark has completely rubbed off, so we can't say when it was manufactured, however the wear suggests this is an antique. The silver ingot was manufactured in 1979 in London. The makers mark is “JMLd”, which we've not been able to identify as yet. This chain is slightly longer than most so would suit a larger gentleman very well.
