Silver Albert chain with medal 1892 Birmingham

£249.00

This is a great single silver watch chain complete with footballing medal and terminating in a spring clip for attaching a pocket watch, fob or other accessory. The chain is of graduating curb link construction with each link hallmarked with the passant lion for sterling. This chain is in excellent condition for a piece of jewellery now 125 years old. The chain was manufactured by Edwin Page of Birmingham. The footballing medal is later, manufactured in 1923, probably by John Pairman & Sons. It's inscribed on the front with the initials “T.F.J”. This is a very smart addition to any sporting waistcoat.
