Silver Albert chain with fob medal 1901 Chester
SOLD - to a gentleman!
This is a lovely single silver watch chain complete with a fob medal awarded by the Scottish Amateur Gymnastic Association. The medal is engraved on the back with the name “H. Mitchell” and the date 1913 – 14. The chain is of graduating curb link construction and is hallmarked on each link with the passant lion. The T-bar hallmarks include the date mark for 1901, makers mark and the passant lion for sterling. The clip is probably a later replacement as the makers mark although rubbed, looks like it ends in an “S”. This item is a lovely example of a silver watch chain with fob medal that is proving very popular with gentlemen today.
