Silver Albert chain 1893 Birmingham
SOLD - to a gentleman!
This is a lovely single silver watch chain complete with a heavy silver T-bar and clip. The chain is of fancy link construction and is hallmarked on each link with the passant lion. The T-bar hallmarks include an indistinct date mark (possibly “t” for 1893), makers mark and the passant lion for sterling. The clip has hallmarks matching the T-bar – makers mark, date mark and passant lion for sterling, so this is a totally original chain with it's terminal pieces. There is a short tail suitable for attaching a fob which comes complete with a clip. This item is a lovely example of a silver watch chain with a slightly more unusual link construction. A great addition for your waistcoat.
